How much does a custom embroidered company jacket cost?
A Port Authority J317 soft shell with a left-chest logo is $34.77 all-in at 24 pieces, $34.27 at 48, $33.77 at 96 and $32.77 at 144, plus $18.99 one-time digitizing. A Port Authority F218 fleece is $27.57 at 24 and $25.57 at 144. Premium brands are quoted per job.
Is there a minimum order for custom jackets?
No hard minimum. Pricing starts at the 12-23 tier and breaks at 24, 48, 72, 96, 120 and 144 pieces. Smaller orders are fine; the $18.99 digitizing just weighs more per piece.
How long does a jacket order take?
Standard turnaround is 28 days from proof approval. Quotes usually go out the same business day and proofs follow about two business days after we have artwork. Rush is quoted per job.
Which jacket styles do you embroider?
Port Authority J317 soft shell, J333 Torrent rain jacket, F226 microfleece vest, J903 Collective vest, J7710 puffer, J709 puffy vest and F218 fleece; Eddie Bauer EB530 and EB534; OGIO OG740; Carhartt CT104277 and CT102208; The North Face NF0A3LH4; Sport-Tek JST73 and Independent EXP54LWZ windbreakers. Is Battle Born Clothing an authorized Carhartt, Nike and OGIO decorator?
Yes. Those brands are quoted per job with their pricing respected, and we decorate them in-house like any other blank.
Where is the embroidery done?
In our own shop at 3 Pebble Beach Dr, Yerington, NV 89447, on two single-head commercial machines (a Happy HCD2-1501 and a YunFu 15-needle) with Rapos thread and Maggie magnetic frames. Nothing is contracted out except DTF transfer printing, which comes from DTF Tribe in Carson City and is pressed here.
What does digitizing cost and what is it?
$18.99 per design, one time. Digitizing converts your logo into a stitch file the machine can sew. Standard turnaround on digitizing is two days, and we keep the file for reorders.
Can you embroider a large logo on the back of a jacket?
Yes. Back designs over 6,000 stitches are quoted per design by stitch count. Block-letter text is the least expensive large back option; filled logos cost the most. On thin shells we recommend a DTF transfer instead.
Can I supply my own jackets?
Yes. Customer-supplied goods carry a $2 per item handling fee plus embroidery at the normal matrix. The industry-standard ~4% spoilage allowance applies; we aim for zero.
Do you do custom vests with a logo?
Yes. Port Authority F226 microfleece, J903 Collective insulated and J709 puffy vests, Carhartt CT104277 sherpa-lined vest and others. Vests use the same embroidery matrix as jackets.
Do you do custom windbreaker jackets?
Yes. Sport-Tek JST73 hooded raglan and Independent EXP54LWZ lightweight windbreakers, with a small embroidered chest logo or a DTF transfer for large art. Both are quoted per job.
Can you add employee names?
Yes, quoted per job as a second embroidery location. Titles in a single color (FOREMAN, SECURITY) are common and inexpensive.
What artwork do you need?
Vector preferred: AI, EPS, PDF or SVG. A 300 dpi PNG with a transparent background works. We redraw low-resolution logos when needed and show you a proof before sewing.
Do you send a proof?
Yes. Every order gets a digital proof showing the logo at size on the jacket. Production starts after you approve it, and the 28-day clock starts then too.
What if the embroidery is wrong?
If the error is ours (wrong thread color, placement, size against the approved proof), we redo it free. If the approved proof was wrong, the reorder is at the normal price with no new digitizing fee.
Do 2XL and larger sizes cost more?
Yes, by the supplier's upcharge, usually $1 to $7 per piece depending on size and style. It is shown as a separate line on the quote.
Do you run a company online store for jackets?
No. Battle Born Clothing does not run team or company web stores. Send a size list and we ship one box; reorders use the same logo file.
Do you ship nationwide?
Yes, anywhere in the US from Yerington, Nevada. Freight is billed at cost.
Can you embroider hi-vis jackets?
Yes, quoted per job, with ANSI class rules respected: logos stay off reflective tape and keep the required background visible.
Can you match thread to our brand colors?
To the closest Rapos thread shade, from Pantone references or a vector file with colors specified. The proof shows the thread picked.
Can you mix jackets and vests in one order?
Yes. Each style has its own blank price, and the embroidery tier is counted on the total pieces sharing the same logo.
Do you screen print jackets?
Rarely. Screen printing suits flat cotton garments; jackets with zippers, baffles and shells are better served by embroidery or DTF. If you have a flat fleece and a big one-color design, ask and we will price it ($20 per screen per color).
