Add $18.99 one-time digitizing per design (standard 2-day). That file is yours for reorders. Designs over 6,000 stitches are quoted per design; most left-chest logos land between 4,000 and 7,000 stitches, and we tell you the count before you approve.
Size and placement
- Standard width: 3 to 4 inches. Logos wider than 4.5 inches start to look like a badge on most jackets.
- Position: left chest, centered between the zipper and the armhole seam, about 7 to 9 inches down from the shoulder seam. On vests with a chest pocket, above the pocket.
- Thread: Rapos polyester, up to 15 colors per design, matched to Pantone references when you give them.
- Backing: cutaway on soft shells, fleece and puffers so the logo stays stable through washing.
What embroiders well on a jacket
Solid shapes, bold text and logos with clear edges. Gradients, photos and text under 0.2 inches tall do not. If your logo has fine detail, we simplify it at the digitizing stage and show you a proof. Jacket shells vary: a bonded soft shell like the J317 is the easiest; thin puffers and windbreakers need smaller, lighter designs (see the puffer guide).
Our equipment
Two single-head commercial embroidery machines (a Happy HCD2-1501 and a YunFu 15-needle), Maggie magnetic frames that do not leave hoop marks on shells, and Rapos thread. Every order gets a digital proof before production and a free redo if we make the error.

Can you match my brand colors?
Yes, to the closest Rapos thread shade. Send Pantone numbers or a vector file with the colors specified and we match from the thread chart. Exact matches are not always possible in thread; the proof shows what we picked.
Is there a minimum for embroidery?
No hard minimum. Twelve pieces is priced at $6.00 each plus digitizing. One or two pieces is possible but the $18.99 digitizing makes it expensive per piece.
Do you keep my logo on file?
Yes. Reorders use the same digitized file, so a jacket ordered next year matches the one ordered today.
